You can only access it if you’re a Slytherin
As part ofthe intro segmentofHogwarts Legacy, you’ll have the opportunity to sort yourself into one of the four main houses: Slytherin included. Although this infamous house already has a legion of fans, there’s also a good reason to go Slytherin inHogwarts Legacy:it has one of the best common rooms in the game. Here’s how to find it.
To easily get to the Slytherin common room, teleport to the Lower Grand Staircase Floo Flame
When playing through the story, you’ll exit the Slytherin common room and walk into Hogwarts proper.
To get back to it, all you need to do is head to the Lower Grand Staircase Floo Flame, and look directly forward. Walk down the short stairwell and head directly into the wall straight in front of you. The snake border on the ground below will rise up and form a doorway. Enter it to get to the Slytherin common room (where you’re able to also net a Floo Flame spot).
Can you visit other house common rooms inHogwarts Legacy?
Unfortunately, no.
Although you can go up to the Slytherin common room entrance and glance at the wall where the doorway would appear, you can’t actually walk in if you’re not part of Slytherin house. This is one of the few things that matters when picking a house,on top of the house-specific quests.
