We’ve seen a fair amount aboutAnimal Crossingand amiibo, but a lot of it has to do with thefirst use of amiibo cards. Well, when bothHappy Home Designerandamiibo Festivalrelease, they’ll also get some good ol’-fashioned amiibo figurine support.
There’s not a whole lot of new information here apart from the fact that we’re getting a good look at the eight amiibo under theAnimal Crossingbanner. Cyrus, K.K., and Reese are available together in a three-pack, and all eight are available individually. The remaining characters are Tom Nook, Mabel, Digby, Isabelle, and Lottie.
This isn’t necessarily the whole of theAnimal Crossingline. The amiibo cards will have 100 in the set, so there’s wiggle room to add more figures. Given how Nintendo’s finally understanding the selling potential of these things, there’s a fair chance of that happening.
